El Caminito del Rey (The King’s pathway, often shortened to El Camino del Rey) is a walkway, now fallen into disrepair, pinned along the steep walls of a narrow gorge in El Chorro, near Alora in Spain.

The walkway has now gone many years without maintenance, and is in a highly deteriorated and dangerous state. Some parts of the walkway have completely collapsed and have been replaced by a beam and a metallic wire on the wall.

Many people have lost their lives on the walkway in recent years. After four people died in two accidents in 1999 and 2000, the local government closed the entrances. However, adventurous tourists still find their way into the walkway.
Reminds me of those Chinese mountain paths.

Cool ...very cool. virtual walk! Taken in the comfort of my own home with no fear of falling. Thanks Bruce.

My video is only better than the Circero's blue spector.
Somehow it's easier to believe that penguins can fly.

I know this will seem corny to many, but I thought of this movie today. I love this movie, and I love this part. Dick Van Dyke was the bomb!

And here is another great clip from the movie with Sally Ann Howes. Just adorable. I love her look at the end when he tries to smooch her hand.

Cool! I recognized the movie before without clicking the link or the videos. Yes, excellent movie.

What's really cool is that I came up here to the front desk of our suite to help the girls, and I was singing the Music Box song. This nice young man (a high schooler going into the postsecondary education option program) told his mom "Hey mom, she's singing songs from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang." His mom thought it was awesome too, and I was pleased the young guy knew it! :)

Warning: Do not watch this on an emtpy stomach

It's not disgusting, it will just make you hungry.

Seoul Glow is doing an episode on South Korean street food, containing mostly sugar, rice, and chili peppers.:yum: Tteokbokki yes, blood sausage no.

BTW, the Seoul Glow theme is from 'Soul Glow' from Coming to America.

The Inner Life of a Cell

The Inner Life of a Cell from the Harvard Multimedia Production Site . The animation is absolutely amazing. I have to confess that most of the science was way beyond anything I learned in high school biology a few decades ago, but it was so very cool (in a nerdy sort of way) to sit and watch. It looked like an alien planet, and yet it's a representation of something that is happening millions (billions?) of times this very moment in each of our bodies (except for the inflammation part).

Way better than the crappy audio-visuals I had to sit through back then.:thumb:

They would be even better if I understood what the hell they were talking about, but the visuals are cool.

The high points for me were the lipid rafts, diving through the actin filaments and watching the vesicules 'walk' up the microtubules. That last bit had a real "Alice in Wonderland" quality about it.

Maybe in another decade we'll be able to buy home electron microscopes and observe this stuff happening in realtime.

90% of the dialog had me going 'huh?'

Not sure if this belongs here or the WTF thread, but it's a video
so here it is. This may be Eric Cartman as an adult.
