Ears forward, tail up, looking right in his eyes, she's a bold one there.

Beautiful kittehs!

Cloud 03-07-2011 02:45 PM

I agree. pets can be such wonderful companions!

Gaines is really different since Taj passed away...in a good way. He's certainly my little buddy now.

Toonces looked a bit like your Siamese. Gawd what a great cat he was.

I really love cats, but I won't get another one until someday when Gaines is gone. He seems to do much better as an only cat. :)

But it's hard, seeing pictures of kitties and baby kitties and kitties in the paper and kitties on my brother's "farm" and kitties kitties everywhere. I want them all!

Cloud 03-07-2011 02:57 PM

I do too! I wish I lived in a house where I could build a proper outdoor enclosure. I'd have lots. As it is, two kitties in my small apt. seems the best amount.

Gravdigr 03-11-2011 12:26 AM

"Miles", that's a great name for a cat!

Cloud 03-11-2011 08:44 AM

thanks! it's from my favorite book series. He had an Ivan to go with, but Ivan went.

Gravdigr 03-11-2011 01:33 PM

Ivan, he's the one who ran away? No postcards or nothing?:(

Cloud 03-11-2011 03:03 PM

sadly, no.

Mia, my Chihuahua wanted outside and I had to feed the baby calf. Maybe Mia thinks she is a big puppy, she wanted to play with her. I call the calf Navy. She is a blue roan and white. She has an iodine stain on her belly where we sprayed her umbilical cord after she was born. It will wear off. Behind her is a large igloo dog house, she can walk right in it! She is not tall enough to nurse her Mom so I have to feed her. :)

And Mom won't lay down? This seems like a very poor set of survival skills.

Sundae 03-19-2011 06:31 AM

Cows legs don't work like dogs' or cats'. When they lay down their udders are underneath them.
Preemie calves would not survuve, simple as.
Survival of the fittest, ya know.

Cute, cute pic BTW.
One thing I miss about not having a car is the occasional glimpse of Spring lambs.
Ooh! Maybe I'll see some from the train today!
