I never got around to going back to PD as CAP'n Shittard (link to avatar posted in Cellar thread) to post the follow-up comments I was working on...

• I shall keep this log entry brief, lest I suffer the fate of the late honorable Rear Admiral (whom I suspect suffered the indignity of a brief log entry of a different variety, in his briefs, chiefly). I recieved several garbled transmissions, and then...silence. I must keep in mind the Prime Directive: AVOID EYE CONTACT; yet I am fascinated by the predilection of the locals towards mocking the diction of our dear, Rear, Admiral; whom I fear has disapeared in a puff of teriyaki-scented smoke.
  
  
• I pull tight my Cloak of Attribution Error +3 and push onward. Note to self: investigate the efficacy of deploying the fermented menses of the Triple-titted Tribble, to avoid detection (a primitive mask, to be sure, but well worth the 24 bits).
  
  
• I have horrifyingly discovered the expletive deleted carcass of one late racial caricature. This, I now know, is the reason that astronauts wear diapers. It is becoming more difficult to drown out the unintelligible shrieks and howls of the local fauna.
