Or, just build in a period of time between notifying affected parties with the details of changes to their income and housing status and those changes taking effect.

If the details have only been settled days before changes take effect that's shoddy planning.

So, not Lyme and no inflammation markers in my blood.

Still headaches, and joint pain. The energy level is fair to middling.

Emailed the doc about next step.

glatt 06-11-2017 08:51 PM

Well, that's good at least.

FUCKING SOCIAL SECURITY CHANGING THINGS WITHOUT NOTICE SUCKS BALLS, YOU GUYS.

Yes, that does. I'm dealing with it as well.

force him to get a $49 check to his bank to cash EVERY WEEK because no, they don't do direct deposit, and they'll probably audit him.
They are ONLY allowing my son to do Direct Deposit. There must be some miscommunication on your end. Also, if they aren't already, they have little to no interest in auditing you...or him.

SSI requires me to pay half the rent and utilities anywhere I live.
Not true either, not even close to true.

I read every single terrifying thing Social Security sends me. I haven't gotten a letter from them since the beginning of the year when I always get a "this is now your per-month amount" letter. A little warning on "your rent payment plan is now illegal and can get you thrown off SSI for life" might have been nice!!!
I think you may be mistaken here as well.

American conservatives getting their collective gun boner on over the London attacks. That's pissing me off.

Note to self: stop watching Fox news clips on youtube.

from your link it appears she is right...

DOES WHERE I LIVE AFFECT HOW MUCH SSI I CAN GET?

Yes, it can. If you live in your own place and pay your own food and shelter costs, regardless of whether you own or rent, you may get up to the maximum Supplemental Security Income (SSI) amount payable in your State. You also can get up to the maximum if you live in someone else's household as long as you pay your food and shelter costs. If you live in someone else's household and don't pay your food and shelter costs or pay only part of your food and shelter costs, your SSI benefit may be reduced by up to one–third of the SSI Federal benefit rate.

The main premise of gun proponents is the ability to defend yourself from bad guys/gals, and the government.
That's why they are making noise about Brits can't do that, in the wake of this tragedy.
Maybe it's time for the British reaction to not be going into mourning, but get pissed and go into action.
Keep calm and carry on doesn't work.

No, they do not.

Sorry, not a requirement.
