I just took mine down to 1/16". We had a lice outbreak among the shorties this week. They can't infest what they can't find.

Word has gotten out about the flame wars here and now opportunists like cremationjewelry are arriving to sell us related stuff.

So here I was thinking it was one of those "be compressed into a fake diamond after you die" type deals and was going to be all smartarsed about Flint becoming a stone... but then I googled it and now I just feel ...ew. They make mini urns and things on necklaces so you can carry some of the ashes of your loved one around with you. Would anyone really want to do that? I guess it's a tradition in some cultures to keep some remains, but.... no, no thanks. not for me.

Yeah, my good friend did it with her dad's "cremains." (That's really what they call them. The name alone makes me shudder.) Except she was very adamant about not wanting to handle or even see the ashes go into the jewelry before it was sautered closed. Seems especially strange to want to carry something like that around if you're not even certain he's in there.
