Undertoad Thursday May 5 01:50 PM5/5/2005: Chinese nest art
Yet more performance art from the Chinese - this time, this gent is going up into a nest for a while. It's not exactly the David Blaine thing - he'll be fed, and his waste will be taken away. Yikes. But he won't communicate with anyone except to send text messages to say he's alright.
The man's name is Ye Fu, and he says he's doing it for the isolation, to talk about the loneliness of a modern society. OK.

Is another performance artist going to be feeding him by vomiting into his mouth?

I'm glad he's not communicating other then the fact that he's communicating.
At least this is better than the gay man-love butt sniffing Chinese art.
I think the nest seems kinda cool but I don't understand the direct relationship to the 'lonely' thing. Still kinda neat though.
