Undertoad Friday Apr 1 11:20 AM4/1/2005: Albino kangaroo
What a cutie here. Phew - after yesterday's image it's good to see this one.
Zookeepers in Kernhof Austria have been successful at maintaining a genetic line of albino kangaroos. This one's named Kimberley, and the baby ("joey") there is named Canberra. They don't know whether the joey is a boy or girl yet, and won't know until it comes out of the pouch in 6 months!

So you're saying a crawl through the snake's alimentary canal bleaches the fur?
Trilby Friday Apr 1 11:36 AMI still see a theme--animals inside of other animals. It's nice, though, that this animal isn't eating the other one.
lookout123 Friday Apr 1 11:39 AMthe question is whether UT saw the them before he posted this or if it is just a happy coincidence.
i think the Joey looks like a Pit Bull in this picture. might this be a modernization of the ugly duckling story?

Austria, not Australia. Close, but very very far.
I sent a letter from the US to my parents in Austria once. It had semi-important legal documents. They were concerned when it didn't arrive for a long time. When they got it, it had a postmark from Sydney.
capnhowdy Friday Apr 1 07:05 PMI want one.
Must be cool to just ride around with mom and drink for 6 mos.
The young one really does look like a young American Bull Terrier.
Wombat Sunday Apr 3 03:48 AMThey look more like wallabies than kangaroos. Cute either way.
