April 19th, 2020 : Canaries

I personally don’t like birds in the house they can be very messy, even when caged.
However many people do love their tweety birds, either for the songs or a power trip.
I guess Canaries are the most popular but there’s a dozen different kinds with different talents.

There is one with promise, I like the punk looking Gloster.

They claim it’s song is off key but I think it makes it up in looks and swagger.

If you put him in a cage, you better watch your ass.

See, not to be trifled with... you don't see Sylvester around anymore do ya.

I had a canary named Wolfgang for several years several years ago.
He entertained us with beautiful songs of endless variety.
I still am not sure if he did so out of joy or sorrow.

Any critter we bring into our homes we should ask ourselves that question, are we saving them from the cold cruel world or imprisoning them?
