Feb 14th, 2020 : Valentine

Hmm, Valentine, I’m not big on saints and don’t have a lover so the first thing that comes to mind is my Radar/Lidar detector.
I am fond of that but love, no.
But for the vast majority Valentines Day, besides being the precursor to Steak & Blowjob Day, is the day to express your love for
not your flag, or of mankind, but for your most significant lover. Many get carried away and get engaged on this day, which leads
to all sorts of infuriating customs then finally a wedding... oh, and the honeymoon.
Honeymoon has often meant Niagara Falls for countless generations. I knew where I was going.

This is an unusual view of Niagara Falls where the falls themselves are dwarfed by the surrounding commerce infrastructure
on both sides of the border.

I wonder where the wall is going?

If you’re bitter, for $5 the San Antonio Zoo will name a cockroach after your object of disdain and feed it to an critter.
If your disdain has grown to hate, got ya covered... for $20 they’ll hang the name on a mouse which will be gobbled by a snake.

Is that a bit downstream?

Prolly just me, I'm a little bleary-eyed.

Yes, downstream, by whirlpool aero car and whirlpool state park

Whirlpool Bridge at the bottom of the picture. I hadn't seen much aerial of the stretch between the falls and where my friend lives in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
