xoxoxoBruce Tuesday Nov 13 12:15 AMNov 13th, 2018: Jack O'Lantern
Poor little pumpkin, just another veggie in the garden. A little yellow gourd that nobody walking through wants to nosh.
Then comes harvest time and all the other veggies are lovingly carried off to the farmer's house.
But poor pumpkin is left behind to suffer the shorter days and chilly nights vined to the garden patch.
Then comes October and Pumpkin will transmogrify into the super gourd... Jack O'Lantern!
The star of the month that children beg for, fight siblings over, make mothers crazy over.
Jack O'Lantern, superstar, do you think you are what they say you are?
But then it's suddenly November and you're a rotting, moldy, tree rat gouged, abomination.
I know how you feel.
