5/9/2003: Tiger with piglets

Happy Friday. Normally a tiger couldn't resist chowing down on the great feast of young piglets; savory ham is a fine meal. But this tiger, or I guess tigress, was born in captivity and breast-fed by a female pig for four months after her birth. So she likes pigs!

Her name is Sai Mai, and this is a zoo 50 miles east of Bangkok.

Very cool, UT!
Of course a farmer likes his cows too. Especially when he's hungry.

That's very cool.

Without the accompanying text, I'd have to assume it was a pack of vicious piglets out on the hunt. And they're working in concert to take down the helpless tiger.

My ex-roomate, who's fanatically in love with her two chihuahuas, is convinced to this day that there are bands of chihuahuas that roam around Mexico taking down cows. She's not too bright. Although I guess love can cloud one's vision.

Those yippy little things can be dangerous. They'll latch onto your leg and drag you all over the place

Maybe she was confusing el chihuahua with El Chupacabra, the mexican goat-sucking monster?

Maybe it's a Jewish tiger.

I don't recall Tigger ever having a problem with Piglet. But then I don't watch that show much.
