Oct 23rd,2016: Chips

The word's most expensive potato chips...

Quote:
Swedish beer-maker St. Erik's Brewery recently debuted the world's most expensive potato chip.
A box of 5 chips cost 499 kr, or around $56, which comes out to about $11 per chip.

They're made with a bunch of fancy-sounding ingredients: Matsutake, Truffle Seaweed, Crown Dill,
Leksand Onion, India Pale Ale Wort, and Ammarnäs Potatoes.

However, you can no longer get your hands on any of these chips because the beer-maker
only made 100 boxes of them, and they've already sold out.

I bet that before they were sold, somebody licked one to see what it tastes like and put it back in the box.

That's called quality control.

That's how they get the powdery ingredients to stick

Gravdigr  Tuesday Oct 25 12:41 PM

Man, wouldn't it suck if you ordered up a box of those and they were broke all to shit when ya got 'em?

newtimer  Friday Oct 28 07:40 PM

No, these are the SECOND-most expensive chips. The most expensive are the Pringles that are in the hotel room's mini-bar.
