A view of the Headquarters of the United Nations in New York as seen from the north of the UN site. The buildings are the General Assembly (left) and the 39-storey Secretariat. The flags of 148 UN Member States fly in a row over 500 feet long overlooking the United Nations Plaza.

Wombat Wednesday Oct 24 06:25 PMSome are missing, I think?
These are the flags I can see in the top row:
Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Fiji, Finland, France, ? (presumably Gabon but the flag is fluttering so we can't see it), Gambia, Germany, Ghana, etc.
So where are Eritrea, Estonia, and Georgia?
List sorted by the official order in which the flags are flown in front of UN buildings: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...United_Nations
