I'll stick with the ocean. Also, it's free.
xoxoxoBruce Thursday May 31 02:19 AMIt's not free everywhere, especially New Jersey.
Trilby Thursday May 31 06:38 AMI like the saltiness of ocean water. And the breath taking coldness.
Best beach in America is Race point beach Atlantic side in Cape
Cod. When I win the lotto imma buy me a house there.
Blueflare Thursday May 31 07:46 AMThe blueness of it hurts my eyes.
ZenGum Thursday May 31 08:05 AMThat's called chlorine reaction.
tracey Thursday May 31 01:56 PMI would definitely take the beach over the pool, I miss the ocean...God how I miss the ocean. Don't miss the jellyfish though.
Leus Thursday May 31 05:26 PMWater down here is cold as heck, as well as dangerous, so it's not nice for swimming.
The pool uses sea water, so it is salty. It is very nice and not that expensive (you can rent a nice apartment for about US$250 a day.)

At Bondi Beach it is very common to encounter a "Bondi Cigar". It's not a *fish* turd.
