July 28, 2011 Sweet Meats

Via Neatorama

Austrian Jasmine Schuller, a photographer, made delicious-looking (and probably tasty!) desserts out of meat products. Dig in! Link (Google Translate) -via Nerdcore | Artist’s Website

From the translated link:

I was particularly amused by the story as jasmine Schuller had come up with the idea. Presented as a former vegan roommate her proud one Tofuwurst in the form of a turkey, it was clear that they had to turn the tables and times. So to speak, the Empire Strikes Back.
A former vegan now makes delicious meat desserts? It might be a trap.

I think it was her (former) roommate who was the vegan, who gave Jasmine fake meat that looked like a turkey. So she's returning the favor by making fake desserts made of meat. The Star Wars reference seems a little gratuitous, though.
