It takes so much time and energy to plant somebody, here's and idea who's time has come.
The Screw In Coffin.

why fuck around with that?

jujuwwhite  Tuesday Feb 9 01:36 AM

Well I've heard of 'being screwed to death' but never 'being screwed after death'!

xhaos01  Tuesday Feb 9 03:29 AM

Thats a great idea, really! An Auger built intoa coffin. that way the zombies are already standing when they reanimate!

But I think Jim nailed a better idea!

ZenGum  Tuesday Feb 9 03:53 AM

I used to be a necrophile, until some rotten cxxx split on me.

Never heard of the IRS? Or debt collectors?

Yea I've heard of both, but usually there ain't shit they can do AFTER I'm dead other than repo my rotting corpse!

Kolbenfresser  Tuesday Feb 9 06:18 AM

Action!

I like the idea/pic of Lumberjim. It would add some action to a slow standard funeral.
And it would be cheaper.

Death has never stopped either from trying.

monster  Tuesday Feb 9 08:37 AM

Well that will add a new twist to the funeral. I wonder which celeb will take the first turn in one of these?

Now you can get nailed and then screwed.

dacliff  Tuesday Feb 9 09:39 AM

Aside from the puns, there is some real merit to this idea. I can picture the Army's Mortuary Affairs using something like this. With cemetaries filling up more and more every day, there has been exploration into how to conserve space. Enter vertical burying. My personal take is that everyone should be cremated. It saves a ton of space and piggybacking on xhaos, ashes can't reanimate like corpses.

xoxoxoBruce  Tuesday Feb 9 09:43 AM

Cremation takes too much energy. Compost, or better yet, soylent green.

lumberjim  Tuesday Feb 9 10:48 AM

the coffin nail gun was jinx's idea.....i just did the photo(paint.net)-shopping.

Flint  Tuesday Feb 9 01:10 PM

Screw, in coffin.

SPUCK  Wednesday Feb 10 05:22 AM

Indeed....

Pete Zicato  Wednesday Feb 10 10:13 AM

I dunno. You really want to be standing for the rest of eternity?

xoxoxoBruce  Wednesday Feb 10 10:52 AM

You'll puddle in the bottom.

I do believe that there are some stories of the French doing this for it's soldiers fallen overseas (Vietnam in the 50's) where they were said to have buried them in the standing position facing home to France.
