Undertoad Sunday Aug 9 01:08 PMAug 9, 2009: Dwarf miniature horse
The Mail catalogues this new beastie, named Koda. He's a dwarf American Miniature horse - a miniature of a miniature.
The story has three other excellent photos which you really much check out. This is not the smallest horst in the world - that horse, named Thumbelina, was previously documented by the Mail, and by IotD. But this horse is funnier-looking. Look at that goofy thing!
The down side of having this horse as a pet: the total vet's bill, for correcting his legs and teeth, is expected to be around £15,000.
TheMercenary Sunday Aug 9 04:04 PMPoor fella. I wonder how long they expect him to live?
Undertoad Sunday Aug 9 08:34 PMVideo of the cool little guy, especially interesting if you speak Australian:
Cloud Sunday Aug 9 08:56 PMHis coat doesn't look healthy.
Kasszia Monday Aug 10 12:16 AMWow. I have to say that it just makes me sad. If you're going to breed, please make sure that the animal is healthy! It isn't cute, it isn't healthy, I just feel bad for the poor critter.
ZenGum Monday Aug 10 03:53 AMAt first I was thinking what Kasszia said, but watching the video, I'm not so sure.
It seems he wasn't bred like that on purpose. And furthermore, he seems happy and playful. Never gonna earn his keep about the farm though, and not a lot on him if you want to
