June 11, 2009: Grave Issues

Some people want more than just a simple headstone.

Here are some examples of MORE.

capnhowdy  Thursday Jun 11 08:26 AM

Slightly disturbing. This is gotta be an Asian thing.

ZenGum  Thursday Jun 11 08:45 AM

Top pic: lots of crosses in background
Second: Chinese Script

Is this some kind of plot?

Shawnee123  Thursday Jun 11 09:09 AM

I like the naked woman statue, except she looks so...um, dead.

I hope she wasn't murdered by ticks.

Keep a stiff upper lip, I'm sure we'll unearth the answer soon. Lay low, I'll do a little digging.

Based on the body of evidence, I have to agree.

Undertoad  Thursday Jun 11 11:18 AM

Translation - there's some naked women on them there graves!

You wouldn't get them in a British cemetary though. Actually, I'm not 100% sure about that - but definitely not in a churchyard. They are very po-faced about things there.

If I didn't think being buried in a cemetary is a bad idea, I'd be scheming to get that sort of memorial for myself. I like. It's one way to be remembered after you're gone anyway.

Coign  Thursday Jun 11 01:16 PM

I just want to have a naked woman on top of me for eternity. Or 20 years, however long my grave plot lease is.

lawman  Thursday Jun 11 05:52 PM

Anyone else think the woman gravestone looks similar to this:

And is it just me or does it look like Han's copping a feel??

richlevy  Thursday Jun 11 06:19 PM

Sounds like this... LET'S ROCK!!!!

Actually, I thought it was slightly blue...

capnhowdy  Friday Jun 12 07:48 PM

That's prolly due to lack of oxygen.
