The late Frank Zappa is honored every year by the German town of Bad Doberan. Despite the fact that the town only has 12,000 residents, it's become a major attraction for Zappa fans. Here we see a bust of the man being unveiled at the annual Zappa Festival. This year marked the 13th year that the event was held.
No word on whether the assembled were fans of his novelty singles, his rather direct lyrics, his orchestral works, his poly-rhythmic jazz from hell, his many words of wisdom, or his virtuoso-level guitar work.
