Mar 2, 2009: Lightning Close I confess I love lightning pictures, and we did one here. Quote:
monster Monday Mar 2 12:53 AM excellent. Is the fence still there? Sheldonrs Monday Mar 2 06:29 AM I would need a really good camera and an extra pair of shorts to take that picture. capnhowdy Monday Mar 2 07:46 AM I'm not afraid of many things. But lightning is one of them. Unimaginable power. lupin..the..3rd Monday Mar 2 09:31 AM I wonder what lightning tastes like? Probably crunchy and bitter. floatingk Monday Mar 2 10:12 AM omfg....Im sure I would have turned and ran right through the sliding glass door, soiled pants and all....I mean I spilled my drink on myself watching Quarantine...wussy monster Monday Mar 2 10:42 AM That looks suspiciously like the UK -which makes it even more awesome -they don't get so many thunderstorms there (as we do here in the US -or at least my part of it), especially not the forked-lightening kind, so much less chance of getting this shot. xoxoxoBruce Monday Mar 2 10:50 AM From the other Daza123 pictures on the site, I think he is in the UK. Glinda Monday Mar 2 11:01 AM I have a friend who's actually been struck by lightening twice. Couple years later, a big truck drove into his house, demolishing most of it (but not him). About three months ago, he took a trip into town, only to discover his cat in the engine (it lived, barely). A few weeks ago, he nearly cut his thumb off with a *cough* SKILL saw. sweetwater Monday Mar 2 11:11 AM Quote:
There are others here - LINK I love storms, but strikes that close would have me inside the house. Yikes! Lurker Monday Mar 2 06:31 PM Glinda-- Sounds to me like God REALLY LIKES Gus a lot. Gravdigr Monday Mar 2 06:41 PM Quote:
