Undertoad Thursday Aug 8 01:22 PM8/8/2002: Cerne Abas giant modification
The Cerne Abas Giant is a 197-foot fertility symbol that was cut into an English hillside. The giant was created, probably in B.C., by digging trenches into the top layer, into the chalk layer below. Generation after generation has maintained the symbol, which is located in the remote hills of Dorset.
A few days ago, though, it was modified. The British Family Planning Association put a 21-foot condom on it.
