More images that I don't think are compelling enough to make it as single-day items.

The ongoing foot and mouth scene has produced a lot of really nasty images, but nothing much to say about them except "yet more livestock die".

It turns out that one of the world's leading wing-walkers is Guy Mason. It turns out that this is the son of Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason. "And now you know... the REST of the story."

You know, not that I want to be over-analyzed by the Freudians, but that galaxy, being sort of a long slit with hair on each side, looks remarkably like a....well, now I know why the Egyptians worshiped cats. After all, if you looked up in the sky and saw a giant *****, you would be a cat worshipper too.

Turtle hospital - Caring for giant turtles requires many of the same medical skills as caring for humans. Here a hospital worker requests proof of insurance.
