The best real estate agents in Montgomery County

March 30, 2008: Sid Fishious

The SUN tells us, in it's usual reserved manner ;

Quote:
A SAVAGE fish more terrifying than a piranha has been caught in Britain for the first time — sparking fears of a deadly invasion.

The vicious giant snakehead EATS everything it comes across and has even been reported to KILL people.

The monster — from south-east Asia — has a mouth crammed with fearsome teeth, can “crawl” on land and survive out of water for up to four days.

News that a 2ft specimen had been hooked in an English river caused widespread panic among anglers and conservationists.

Quote:
Experts who studied photos of Andy’s catch confirmed it was the predator which is on a list of species that cannot be imported into the UK.

It is feared the fish had been smuggled in for an aquarium and then illegally released. Snakeheads caused chaos when they were found in America in 2002, with snipers setting up on banksides to shoot them and entire lakes being poisoned to kill them.
About the only thing they left out was, it's a conspiracy by terrorists.

Why did Jehova make such a critter?

it looks prehistoric. Another reason to avoid going into natural waters. Monsters lurketh there.

Yes it is, but not my doing. It was the headline in the link.

And welcome to the Cellar, Antimatter.

Brazilian Nasty Fish Soup (Known as Viscious-saws when served cold)

Ingredients:
Snakehead, whole fish (or heads)
green vegetables in season or to taste
carrots, peeled and sliced or diced
yams, peeled and cut up
onions, whole small or quartered
salt and pepper to taste
1 or 2 small chilies to spice things up a bit
small ginger root, coarsely chopped
1 or 2 sliced or wedged lemons or limes

Directions:
Boil whole fish in vegetable stock with spices and pieces of ginger. Add fresh cut up vegetables. Remove bones and larger fins from the fish. Slice lemon or lime as garnish. Remember, the head is an aphrodisiac and is often served separately. The soup can also be made entirely from Snakehead heads if desired.

No worries. I am sure some barge will spill some oil in the nick of time.

It's The Sun. It's a daily equivalent of the National Enquirer. With nudity. And a little Faux style news. Count yourself lucky it didn't expose the Snakehead sex scandal with graphic pics.

...Blowfish! prime minister after fishy bj gets caught...... :: ?

Some Americans under the age of 50 might actually buy a newspaper once in a while, if they had Page 3 girls.

Page 3?

First, I read this as
1 or two CHILDREN

Anyone else reminded of Dr. Demento?

Fish heads, fish heads, rolly polly fish heads
Fish heads, fish heads, eat them up
Yumm!

In the morning, laughing happy fish heads
In the evening, floating in the soup

Ask a fish head anything you want to
They won't answer, they cant talk

I took a fish head out to see a movie,
Didn't have to pay to get it in

They can't play baseball, they don't wear sweaters
They're not good dancers, they don't play drums

Rolly Polly fish heads are never seen drinking cappuccino in
Italian restaurants with Oriental women.
Yeeaahh

Fish heads, fish heads, rolly polly fish heads
Fish heads, fish heads, eat them up
Yumm!

sweetwater  Sunday Mar 30 06:54 AM

I think this fish should be renamed. 'Dr. Demento fish' is more Sun-worthy.

Thanks. As you have no doubt guessed I've been lurking around here for some time. Mostly in IotD - perhaps one day I'll set out to explore the rest of this place...
