February 29, 2008: Leap Day

It's Friday, It's the Leap Day.... must be time for.....

Taken by our very own Jinx. Recipes welcome, best one may very well be applied to the subject of the pic.

ETA: Version two, a little sharper, might need a more delicate recipe....

battered with sesame seeds , YUMMMMY !!

Elspode  Thursday Feb 28 11:45 PM

Do you have *any* idea how long it would take to kill that thing if you battered it with sesame seeds? Days. Really.

Batter it with a 2x4...it would be ready to cook in minutes.

Or, you could bash it with a cast iron skillet, like we did once on a stoned camping trip where the frogs refuse to cooperate.

my childhood friend, Jack put a fire cracker in one's mouth.

chocolate mint frog.

if you found one on your pillow at a hotel, you'd try to eat it.

Gravdigr  Friday Feb 29 10:16 AM

Now, how in the hell am I supposed to cook froglegs that small???

Saphyre  Friday Feb 29 02:11 PM

Frog potstickers with peanut sauce. Do you want flies with your order?

Trilby  Friday Feb 29 02:26 PM

Froggy went a-courtin' he did ride, uh-huh......always reminds me of the Tom&Jerry cartoon. Jerry's uncle Pecos comes to town for his big national TV debut.

Ya can't play guitar without guitar straang.

Good times...

I think we should combine the two Friday 29th IOTDs, then we could have a breakfast worthy of Saturday 1st March: scrambled frogs and bacon.

Speaking of which, it's white rabbits day (1st of March where I come from, apparently 1st of any month for some). Either way, I hope someone's cooking up a related iotd. Fatal attraction-style bunnies, maybe?
