2/28 bonus: Bob Vole

Our house is facing a burst of species diversity this week as a vole has moved in. Here the beast has taken up residence behind my desk. I assume that shortly it will be scampering across my feet and up my leg.

It's ironic that Mr. Vole should make himself a pest on a day when the IotD is about hunting. If I had some vole semen that I could bait a trap with, I think I'd do it.

Nice carpet.

Hubris Boy  Thursday Feb 28 04:52 PM

Nice vole, too. Fat 'n sassy. Whatcha been feedin' him? The insulation from yer CAT-5 cables?

Torrere  Thursday Feb 28 06:12 PM

The first time I glanced at it, I'd assumed Bob Vole was dead. Whoops.

Hm. I think the insulation on those cable's looks like the same stuff that's around bungie cords =]

When I last lived in a household run by cats, they used to present us with mostly dead voles on a regular basis. Opinion was divided as to whether they were usually found by the catfood bowl because they were being offered in trade, or because the cats suddenly lost interest in vole when they realized KittieKruchies were at hand.
